Here's a chance for budding cooks to get in the kitchen and explore different ingredients and techniques through a variety of seasonal recipes. We'll cook up a menu of delicious recipes tailored just for kids to make with their family at home. Students not only learn valuable techniques such as sauce making, measuring ingredients, preparing vinaigrettes, and making basic dough's; they also develop an appreciation for cooking and eating fresh and seasonal foods.
Menu: Chicken Pot Pie with Homemade Crust; Spinach Salad with Goat Cheese, Dried Cherries, & Walnuts with Apple Cider Vinaigrette; Baked Apples with Raisins; and Carrot Cupcakes.
