The Russian River Valley Winegrowers annual Hog in the Fog ~ Festival of Plenty BBQ is a perennial favorite with its TasteFest and auction. This year, we're adding live music, art demonstrations by our vintner artists, and a surprise Food & Wine magazine guest chef known for firing up great BBQ recipes.

As you enter Richard's Grove and Saralee's Vineyard ?" a splendid park-like setting surrounded by their legendary vineyards and majestic oaks ?" our winegrowers and roving musicians will greet you with your tasting stemware, auction booklet and a Keys to the Cellar ticket for a chance to win a wine cellar at the close of the evening's live auction (you must be present to win). Remember, we'll also be auctioning off the large canvas painting created at the previous night's In Concert with the Artisans to benefit El Molino High School's AG program.

Once inside the grove and under the canopy of towering oaks, the TasteFest will feature more than fifty Russian River Valley wineries. Our roving musicians will continue to serenade as you taste and chat it up with the growers and winemakers who collaborated to create these stellar wines. You'll also sample small-bites produced from our region's fabulous food products, bid on your favorite silent auction items, and take in the arts created by our versatile and talented vintners. While all this is going on, our grape growers will be putting the finishing touches on the evening's plentiful BBQ feast. We'll also be closing silent auction tables -- which will be overflowing with exclusive bottles, baskets of local goods, private tours and other unique items -- every few minutes to keep the bidding action lively.

At dinner, served communal-style, our grape grower BBQ chefs will serve up succulent pulled pork, scrumptious tri-tip, grilled chicken, seasonal produce, and tasty side dishes. And, of course, your dinner will be paired with Russian River Valley wines, served by our evening's sommeliers ?" our vintners and growers who will roll up their sleeves and make the rounds with great bottles and conversation!

And then, over this bountiful feast, we'll all pull out our paddles for Grape to Glass' most popular and important event, the Live Auction featuring rare library wines and Russian River Valley lifestyle packages. The big question is, who will win the Keys to the Cellar at the close of the live auction?
