Crafting a Celebratory Cocktail

A Non-Alcoholic Demonstration and Tasting

The holidays are the perfect time to create and serve a signature cocktail but before you can take creative license, it’s best to know the fundamentals of creating a fresh-tasting, well-balanced drink. Join Culinary Center Director and cocktail enthusiast, Christine Carroll as she walks you through the building blocks of a nice, stiff tipple including simple syrups, fresh fruit juices and purees, bitters and classic techniques. Everyone will get a chance to practice their perfect shake and we’ll discuss the equipment necessary for every home “bar-chef”.

On the menu: Mint Julep, Pisco Sour, Bellini, Homemade Egg Nog $15

NOTE: All drinks created will be “mocktails” but recipes can be readily adapted to the spirit of your choice.
