The Career and Technical Education Conference is sponsored by Kansas Association for Career and Technical Education (K-ACTE), Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE), Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR), and Kansas Council for Workforce Education (KCWE).

HOTEL INFORMATION:

The 2009 Summer Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Wichita Kansas August 3-5, 2009.  A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, at a rate of $99 for single occupancy, $109 for double occupancy and $119 for triple and quadruple.  These rooms will be available until 5:00 July 2, 2009.  Reservations can be made by calling (316) 293-1966, 800-233-1234 or online at www.hyatt.com.  Please identify yourself as a K-ACTE conference attendee.  The address for the hotel is: Hyatt Regency Wichita, 400 West Waterman, Wichita, KS  67202.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

The early bird registration cut off is Friday, July 10, 2009.  Any registrations received after July 24, 2009 will be considered on-site and you will need to check in at the onsite registration desk at the conference.  On-site registrants must provide a school check, personal check or credit card at the time of registration.

If paying by PO or check, each attendee can register on their own and select the pay by PO or check option and turn their print out in to their school office.  A print out must be included with each PO or check payment in order to ensure accurate processing. Any PO or check received without any supporting documents is subject to being returned to sender. 

Credit card payment is also an option thru the online registration.

If payment is not received within 30 days of the date of the conference a $25 service charge will be assessed to each registration.
