What is NPSI?

The National Playground Safety Institute (NPSI) promotes children's rights to play and promote nationally the importance  of play has to a child's development.

This course is the most comprehensive training program on playground hazard identification and risk management methods offered anywhere. 

Who should attend: Park Planners, Parks/Ground Maintenance Crew Chiefs, Senior Parks Lead, Large/Small Franchise Daycare Providers, DSHS Daycare Inspectors, Commercial Vendors who supply playground equipment to Parks & Recreation Agencies, Directors & Operation Managers of Parks & Recreation Agencies, Park Board Members/City Officials who are coordinating volunteer crews for park playground installations, School District Personnel who are responsible for installing or maintaining school playground equipment.

Washington Recreation & Park Association Purchase/refund policy: Standard Refund Policy: All refunds must be received in writing. Refunds will be granted less a 15% processing fee and lost costs incurred. No refunds granted later than 10 days following the event. Send refund requests to wrpa@wrpatoday.org. Exceptions Include: NPSI courses have a custom refund policy due to advance distribution of materials. Please refer to course information for information regarding refunds for the NPSI course. Aquatic Section Retreat: No refunds will be granted after Sept. 29, 2008. Refunds requested before Sept. 29, 2008 will be granted less a 15% processing fee and less cost incurred.
