The YNPN community spoke and we listened!
We are delighted to host this event representing YNPN supporters’ choice in topic.  If you are considering this career change, this event is your chance to do some soul searching. Envision yourself in the nonprofit sector and take a step toward solidifying those visions into concrete actions.  Where do you see yourself?  Fundraising, program implementation, operations or something else? Independent consulting or a team of staff? What issues and values appeal to you most? This event concludes our 2009 professional and career development series!  In the spirit and culmination of our career and professional development seminars, the evening represents a new tide of change-makers within our communities.

Join an enthusiastic and interactive panel discussion that will cover such topics as: *Transferring your professional skill set from the for-profit to nonprofit sector  *Transitioning from public service or collegiate studies to employment in the nonprofit sector  *Starting your own nonprofit organization

Don Spradlin, Development Director, Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment
Nelson Layag, Projects Director, CompassPoint
