Paddle along the protected waters in San Francisco.
You have 1.5 hour to explore the landmarks nearby; McCovey Cove, Lefty O'Doul Draw Bridge, Mission Creek Houseboats. The water is flat in this area.
You must stay within the protected area. Tidal currents affect the San Francisco bay, and paddling outside needs additional gear and information.
This is a self-guided kayak trip for adults. Typically your trip looks like the following:
Hour 0-0.5: check-in, area briefing, gear up, and paddling lesson
Hour 0.5-2: paddle on the water
Hour 2-2.5: return, rinse gear, and check-out

Double kayaks are typically used for beginners, but single kayaks are available to intermediate and advanced paddlers. Sit-on-top kayaks are used for this session.
This trip does not include a guide.

Motion Sickness
You will get motion sickness if you are hung over or just sensitive to motion sickness. Don't paddle hungry. Avoid staying up late the night before. Drink carbonated water.Eating ginger before the trip or taking Dramamine hours before helps some people.

RESTRICTIONS
Children under 15 must ride with an experienced adult on a double kayak.
Participants should weigh between 30 lbs and 200 lbs.
You must be able to swim 25ft with life jacket.
