On behalf of the Executive Council of the Society of Women Engineers - Detroit Section (SWE Detroit), I extend our appreciation that you support the mission of SWE through your membership. As one of the largest sections in the Society, SWE Detroit is able to provide a broad set of programs to support our members and help reach future engineers. Highlights of these programs include:

* A full slate of professional development programming, including our multi-year, award winning Professional Development Conference in Spring 2010
* Activities with students, including work with collegiate sections, scholarships to high school students starting college, and mentoring girls in Detroit
* Networking activities, either through special-interest groups at our larger employers, or through social activities

We hope that you will be able to provide extra assistance to the section so that we can maintian our depth and breadth of programs. Naturally, we wish to acknowledge the backing and support of our members and friends. For FY2010, SWE Detroit is using the following categories:


ASPIRE: $20-$49
ADVANCE: $50-$149
ACHIEVE: $150 and above

Our programs and services are enhanced and energized by your dedication and support of SWE Detroit. Remember that your donation is fully deductible under US Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). As SWE Detroit's programs and scholarships continue to grow, so does our need for your support.
