Program Learn how to “Set the Scene Sustainably” and attend our meeting at Lutron’s Experience and Training Center in Irvine. From 6:00 to 7:00 tour Lutron’s interactive showroom of lighting controls in their full scale vignettes which includes a well appointed kitchen, master suite, bath, and more. From 7:00 to 8:00 continue networking while enjoying an appetizing meal. Be sure to bring lots of business cards; you may find your next supplier standing next to you. Our CEU presentation is from 8:00 to 9:00 and ends with some exciting door prizes. About our CEU presentation and speaker: Sustainable Residential Lighting and 2008 CA Title 24 Learn about energy savings opportunities available with efficient lighting, shading, and control systems in a home. Examine California’s new 2008 Residential Title 24 Energy Code and review the updated bath and kitchen requirements. We will review in detail the USGBC REGREEN Guidelines, and show examples of beautiful and energy efficient kitchens and baths that meet the CA Title 24 Code. This meeting qualifies for 1 hours worth of CEU’s and is presented by Mark J Gasper of Lutron. Bio Mark Gasper has been with Lutron Electronics since 1991. He is the Pacific Region Account Manager for Lutron’s Residential Systems Division. Lutron’s Residential Systems Division is focused on bringing simplicity and style to “Whole House” lighting and window shade control. In his more than fifteen years at Lutron, Mark has been involved in the lighting control design of several hundred custom homes. Mark is experienced working with Lighting Designers, Architects, Builders, Electrical Contractors, Interior Designers, and Audio/Visual Dealers. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Marquette University and is an active member of ASID, AIA, ICA, and NKBA.
