Details
Celebrating 17 years, the Potomac Celtic Festival will take place on June 12-13, 2010, among the rolling hills of Loudoun County, on the grounds of the Morven Park Equestrian Center, directly on Route 15 in Leesburg, Virginia. Run completely by devoted volunteers, the Potomac Celtic Festival is more than just a cultural heritage festival; it’s a labor of love that brings together an entire community of craftspeople, vendors, historians, performers, and many others. The 2010 Festival will include continuous music and dance, a gathering of Scottish clans and societies, Celtic crafters and specialty import vendors, a parade and pipers, storytelling, children’s activities, workshops, highland game demonstrations, food and drink (including our authentic pub tent featuring Bell Beer and Ale and Tarara wines), and all of the family-fun that has become synonymous with the Potomac Celtic Festival! In 2010 the Festival will feature for the first time contests for the best kilts and highland garb. So come out and wear your finest! Visit www.PotomacCelticFest.org for details and updates. See you at the festival!
