You will be escorted to Splash Hit Zone to join fellow baseball fans. A chance of catching a splash hit is just a bonus.
No paddling experience is required, and beginners are welcome. We will be on the water after briefing about the event, kayaking lesson, and gear up. Getting to the Splash Hit Zone takes 15 minutes. During the game you will have opportunities to explore nearby protected areas.
Plan to arrive 30 minutes before to allow extra time for event traffic and street closures. Cut off for late arrival is 5:30pm. We will return to harbor after the game ends.
We provide kayak, life jacket, and paddles. Bring; waterproof jacket and pants, change of clothes, extra shoes, headlight or flash light. Also recommend; radio (AM 680Hz) and camera should be placed in zip-lock bags, bring snacks. No hard liquor is allowed. California DUI law applies on the water (0.08%BAC).
You could get motion sickness if you are tired, hungry, or just sensitive to motion sickness. Taking carbonated water, ginger, or medication is recommended.
Event fee includes; kayak and gear, escort to McCovey Cove, access to Splash Hit Zone, security permit, and free parking. If the event is canceled, all fees will be refunded. The price does not include gratuity for guides. 15% tip is recommended.
