Panelists: * Chief Judge Randall Rader, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Chief Judge Rader was appointed to the Federal Circuit in 1990 and assumed the duties of Chief Judge in 2010. Chief Judge Rader has co-authored the most widely used textbook on the U.S. patent law, “Cases and Materials on Patent Law.”
* The Honorable Lucy Koh, United States District Judge for the Northern District of California. Judge Koh has presided over several high profile patent cases including the Apple Inc. v. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. trial.
* Peter Detkin, Founder and Vice-Chairman at Intellectual Ventures. Intellectual Ventures is one of the world's biggest patent holders. Prior to co-founding Intellectual Ventures, Peter was Intel Corporation’s Assistant General Counsel in charge of patents.
* Mark Chandler, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Cisco, where he manages a team of 250 professionals. He is an outspoken critic of NPEs/patent trolls and recently testified before U.S. Congress regarding abusive patent litigation.
