MACBETH 3 - a co-production with Dogsbody Theatre Co. TOURS LOS ANGELES, LONDON, AND THE EDINBURGH FESTIVAL TO RAVE REVIEWS:
DARKLY TERRIFYING!!! Wolpe confirms that she is simply one of the best interpreters of the Bard out there! - TALKIN' BROADWAY PLENTY OF EPIC SWEEP!!! Lisa Wolpe's boldly truncated adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy runs just about one hour -- a sort of graphic novel-esque synthesis that gallops along at a breathless pace. In a thoughtful performance, Kate Roxburgh lends stature and masculine gravity to Macbeth, and Gavin McClure invests Lady Macbeth with feminine grace and guile. -LA TIMES
