WIC 2003 Membership Dues

In 2003, WIC is offering the following two membership options:

Become a Premier Member. Premier Membership is designed for consultants who want to get the most out of WIC by attending a majority of the monthly WIC meetings, which alternate between Mountain View and San Mateo. Premier Membership includes:

(1) Free attendance at 11 monthly WIC meetings (a $550 value), this includes two members-only meetings:

  • Networking for WIC Members
  • Consulting Rate Survey

(2) An invitation to the WIC Members-Only Holiday Party in December (there will be a small charge for this event)

(3) Discounted rates for all the WIC-sponsored seminars and events throughout 2003 and eligibility for WIC member discounts that vendors may choose to provide.

(4) Access to the members-only area of the web site, so members will have access to a password-protected area that will contain meeting notes, the rate survey, and helpful templates/documents.

(5) A listing in the searchable on-line WIC Member directory. We will kick-off a new PR initiative in January designed to promote our directory as a resource for companies who seek top-notch consulting talent. This directory also serves as a member directory for WIC members to identify consultants with whom to collaborate.

(6) Being added to the WIC-member email list, a members-only list for communication between paid WIC members.

Become an Associate Member: The Associate membership option is designed for consultants who live out of the area or can only attend WIC meetings infrequently. Associate membership includes everything above EXCEPT free attendance at 11 WIC meetings. Associate members will pay the $50 guest fee for any meeting they choose to attend.

If you plan to attend 3 or more meetings, the Premier membership is the most cost-effective option.

All requests for cancellations and refunds must be sent to: info@womeninconsulting.org

While we understand special circumstances, we request your cooperation with these policies in order to help us plan meals and coordinate events accurately with the venue(s) and make the most of membership funds.

WIC MONTHLY MEETING REFUNDS (Main Meeting):

All registered attendees of a monthly meeting will receive an e-mail before a meeting reminding her/him that she/he has signed-up for a meeting.

WIC Members WITHOUT annual meal passes & Non-Member Refunds: You can request a refund up to Tuesday at Noon prior to the monthly meeting (third Thursday of each month). After Tuesday at Noon, no refunds will be issued.

WIC Members WITH annual meal passes: You must cancel your reservation for a monthly meeting no later than Tuesday at Noon the week of the monthly meeting (third Thursday of each month). If a WIC Member does not cancel in advance and ends up not attending a meeting, we will follow up with the WIC Member after the meeting and remind her/him about the cancellation policy. If a WIC Member misses two meetings in a membership year without advanced cancellation, we will charge the WIC Member $25 for the second missed meeting.

While we understand special circumstances, we request your cooperation with this policy in order to help us plan meals accurately with the restaurant and make the most of membership funds.

All requests for cancellations and refunds must be sent to info@womeninconsulting.org. We would appreciate hearing from any member or non-member regarding a cancellation EVEN UP TO THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

WIC SATELLITE GROUP (EAST BAY, PENINSULA, SAN FRANCISCO, AND SOUTH BAY) MONTHLY MEETING REFUNDS:
If you sign up for any SATELLITE GROUP WIC event and find you cannot attend, please send your cancellation to info@womeninconsulting.org. You can request a refund (less the Acteva processing fee) up to TWO DAYS PRIOR to the meeting. After TWO DAYS PRIOR TO THE MEETING at 12:00 P.M., no refunds will be issued. For example, for Monday meetings, cancellations with requests for refunds must be received by THURSDAY at 12:00 P.M.

WORKSHOP REFUND POLICY:
If you sign up for this seminar and find you cannot attend, please send your cancellation to info@womeninconsulting.org. We will refund your fee less $25 if we receive the cancellation no later than 72 hours before the event.

MEMBERSHIP REFUND POLICY:
Your membership is effective from the date completed through the last day of the twelfth month. Your membership can only be used by you and is not transferrable or refundable.

AFFILIATE SUBSCRIBER OPTION REFUND POLICY:
Your AFFILIATE SUBSCRIPTION is effective from the date completed through the last day of the month 12 months later. Your AFFILIATE SUBSCRIPTION can only be used by you and is not transferrable or refundable. However, should an AFFILIATE SUBSCRIBER decide to join WIC as a PREMIER or ASSOCIATE MEMBER, the amount paid for their subscription will be prorated against the membership fee.

WIC SPECIAL EVENT CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

All registered attendees of a special event will receive an email beforehand reminding them that they have registered for an event.

You may request via email a refund up to noon two business days prior to a special event. After that time, no refunds will be issued.

Acteva's Purchase/refund policy: Refunds and cancellations are provided only at the discretion of the organization hosting or sponsoring this event.
