Greetings Everyone!

We have a date, and a site for this year¿s conference. So mark your calendars and get ready to travel to the Ocean Walk Resort in Daytona Beach, July 16 to 18. This is a great destination, as it is mid-state in location and the property is a 19-story, art deco condominium resort hotel, situated on the area¿s only traffic free beach. All rooms are oceanfront, one- and two-bedroom suites. Only steps away are shops, eateries, movie theatres and entertainment venues for everyone. Our conference fee will remain the same this year for both members, non-members. A one-bedroom suite is $119 a night and a two-bedroom is $199 (this is a great price to double up with someone.)

Our conference will focus on mental health in the elderly with topics of interest including but not be limited to, psychotropic medication, grieving, advance directives, the dental crisis, community resources and of course an inspirational speaker. See you there! Linda Dennis, President FHCSWA

Florida Health Care Social Workers Association Purchase/refund policy: Written notice of registrant's request to cancel must be made in writing and received prior to July 9, 2010 (a $100 administrative fee will be applied). Please fax your requests to (561) 659-1291. After July 9, 2010, no refunds will be made. However, consideration will be given to facilities who have undergone regulatory surveys during the week of the conference. There will be no refunds for membership dues.
