This Event is our continuing initiative to bring together alumni from the aerospace & defense industries, to foster business and social connections, and to build a foundation for future networking.
Our 2005 event was attended by approximately 150 Wharton aerospace alumni (including a large contingent of aerospace colleagues from a handful of other top-ranked business schools), and over one dozen speakers and panelists. Our two keynote speakers were Frank Lanza, Chairman & CEO of L-3 Communications, and Mark Ronald, President & CEO of BAE Systems Inc. Our event also included two functional panels (one on growth strategies in cyclical defense markets and one on emerging defense technologies) and breakout sessions with the aerospace practice leadership of retained search firms Russell Reynolds, Heidrick & Struggles, Korn Ferry, Spencer Stuart and DHR International.
