The perception that beer is a "drink for men" is a tradition that is fading quickly in today's world. In fact, 30% of all beer consumed is by women. While this percentage is relatively smaller than that of men, there is no doubt that more and more women are drinking and enjoying beer these days.

LearnAboutWine is proud to announce our first 101 class with special host Christina Perozzi, AKA The Beer Chick, who will wittingly unravel the mysteries, history, and excitement of the world of beer. With only 40 seats available, this class will sell out quicker than you can say Hefeweizen.
Beer 101 - The History, Folklore, Appreciation and Much More!
Learn the different beer styles, from Pilsner to India Pale Ale. Learn how to store, pour, and serve beer the proper way (yes there is a right way!) Be enticed by the stories of beer coming from centuries of brewing, drinking, and drunken debauchery. Learn how to distinguish the subtle flavors of beer, from chocolate to dried apricots.

About The Beer Chick:
Christina Perozzi is considered by many to be one of the top female beer experts on the West Coast.

She manages Father's Office in Santa Monica, CA, an establishment that is hailed as the Best Beer Bar in California.

Her mission is to dispel many misconceptions that women have about beer, and bring beer to the modern women's dining experience.
