If you have questions or would like more information, contact Steve Reese (reeses@asme.org, 208-526-0070).

Instructor biographical information: Wolf D. Reinhardt earned a Dipl. Ing. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University in Braunschweig, Germany, and a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario. In his current position as Specialist Analyst Engineer at Atomic Energy of Canada, he is investigating elastic-plastic design of piping systems. Previously, he was Lead Engineer in Nuclear Engineering at Babcock & Wilcox Canada and engaged in the design and analysis of nuclear components, principally steam generators and heat exchangers, and in the in-service assessment of steam generator tubes. Wolf is also holding an appointment as adjunct professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Wolf has published over 40 technical papers in the fields of nonlinear vibration, description of metal plasticity, computational methods for the nonlinear analysis of pressure vessels, elastic-plastic pressure vessel design and fracture mechanics. He taught a tutorial on elastic-plastic design using Section III and Section VIII rules at the 2003 PVP Conference. Wolf Reinhardt is a member of the ASME PVPD Computer Technology Technical Committee and repeatedly acted as Technical Program Representative at the PVP Conference for this committee. He is also holding a membership in the ASME Code committees "Subgroup Design Analysis" and "Task Group Elastic Plastic Finite Element Analysis".
