The Society of Concurrent Product Development Presents
SCPD Spring 2008 Conference
Capturing the Voice of the Customer throughout the Value Chain
One-Day Conference & Workshop
Boston University Conference Center, Tyngsboro, MA
Wednesday, March 12, 2008
Understanding and integrating real customer needs in product development is a critical factor for innovation and commercial success. Most companies are not as successful as they could be at cost-effective innovation because they do not practice concurrent methods for capturing Voice of the Customer (VoC). Research evidence supporting this appears in “Getting VoC Right with Concurrency,” Concurrency, Fall 2007.
At the SCPD Spring 2008 Conference, our speakers will familiarize you with companies that successfully overcame barriers to grow sales through innovative new products by better capture of VoC. You will network with others who are experiencing your same journey of continuous improvement of product creation systems. You will identify practices to help your company grow sales and profits by sharing what works and why. There will be hands-on sessions, during which you may develop specific plans for your organization to be more innovative.
