NYCETC invites senior-level staff from community-based organizations, community colleges, union-affiliated training programs, city and state government agencies, private foundations, industry associations and others to participate in this annual event and get the latest information on key workforce development policy proposals!

The forum will feature top city, state and federal government officials who will provide information on the following topics and more:

What are the prospects for WIA reauthorization in 2008? What workforce development initiatives can we expect to see at the federal level in the next year?
What are the Spitzer Administration’s priorities for workforce development and welfare-to-work in the coming year? How can the NYC provider community play a role?
How does the Bloomberg Administration plan to meet its goals for advancing economic opportunity in 2008? How can the NYC provider community play a role?

NYC Employment & Training Coalition Purchase/refund policy: Payment Policy For Events/Conferences (does not apply to donations or membership) • Payment for all registrations must be made in full prior to the conference. • Registrants will be required to resolve any unpaid balances by check or credit card on-site at the conference, excluding those with government purchases orders. Cancellation, Refund and No-Show Policy • Substitutions will be accepted at any time. • All registration cancellations will be charged a $10 processing fee regardless of when received. • Cancellations by phone are not accepted. • Cancellations must be received in writing by mail, fax or email to Charlotte Volage (212) 253-6811 or cvolage@nycetc.org. • Cancellations received prior to October 1 will be refunded or credited to a future NYCETC event following the conference. • There will be no refunds or credits for cancellations received after October 1. • A registered attendee who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the conference is considered a no-show and is not eligible for a refund. • A registered attendee who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the conference is still liable for any outstanding balances.
