The 2008 Long Island Regional SBIR Workshop is a high impact educational event intended for starting entrepreneurs and small business owners interested in high risk, big payoff research funding through a federal Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) or a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant. The workshop is a perfect opportunity to learn strategies for submitting a successful proposal. This federal grant program funds small firms of less than 500 employees in testing, developing and commercializing cutting edge R&D that address the nation’s critical technological needs.
