ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Are you unsure about which of your many career path options is the best fit for you? Are you considering a particular career path and concerned about challenges you will face to get there?
In this hands-on workshop you will examine your skills, interests, and values to consider your career trajectory. Next, you'll hear from a panel of former UCSF trainees in non-traditional careers who thoughtfully considered their skills, interests, and values when choosing their career path. From there, we'll walk you through a structured worksheet to help you set detailed research and professional development goals for the coming year. Together these exercises will help you map out your individual development plan for success this year and in the future.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION
Registration fees help to cover the cost of breakfast, guest panelists, and handouts for this event.
Cost for Registration:
$10 Pre-registration for UCSF students, postdocs & research trainees
$15 Pre-registration for all other registrants
$15 for late or on-site registration (NOTE: If the event is full, on-site registration may not be available.)
Deadline for pre-registration: Friday, February 1, 5:00 pm.
If you wish to pay by check, see special instructions below. If your check is not received by our office (room S-140 Medical Sciences or Box 0404) by Friday, Feb. 1, then your registration will be canceled.
