Questioning the role of multimedia in our newsrooms and what you can do? Wondering what paths a former journalist can take? Concerned about race and politics in the media? Excited for UNITY and wanting to make the best of this year's conference?

With lots of brotherly (and sisterly) love, AAJA-Philadelphia welcomes you to a "Convention of Freedoms," the 2008 East Coast Mini-Conference sponsored by Temple University.

The panels at this one-day-only conference cover a diverse range of topics...and the evening closes out with a networking mixer at the Pen & Pencil Club, the oldest continuously operating press club in America!

Stella Tsai is an attorney and an adviser to the Philadelphia Ethics Committee. She plays a key role in protesting the Chink's Steaks restaurant and expansion.
