Join Vinfolio and our honored guest, world renowned Burgundy critic, Allen Meadows, on Tuesday, October 14th as we taste an array of Burgundy selections at critically acclaimed Spruce Restaurant in San Francisco.
The event will feature exquisite Burgundy expertly paired with sumptuous delights created by Spruce’s Chef Mark Sullivan.
Walk-Around Tasting – 6:00pm – 8:00pm
The evening will begin with a walk-around tasting of twelve select wines. During this portion of the event, Allen will serve as your guide as you explore some of the best 2005 and 2006 Burgundies as well as select wines from the 2000, 2002 and 2004 vintages. These will be accompanied by an array of sumptuous hors d’oeuvres.
Dinner with Allen Meadows – 8:30 – 11:00pm - SOLD OUT
The tasting will be followed by an intimate four course sit-down dinner expertly paired with vintage Burgundy from the 1990, 1991, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2004 vintages . Allen Meadows will personally lead the dinner party through a tour of the various wines, explaining the merits, qualities and subtleties of each selection.
Guests are invited to bring with them their own Burgundian wine treasures to share with this intimate group.
