4th Annual MIT Sloan Club of New York Gourmet Wine Dinner
Hosted by Shelly Rabin, fellow alumnus Harris Rabin’s father, a highly renowned collector of fine wine who has again agreed to donate part of his collection to the dinner. The 6-course dinner will feature multiple fine wines of Sotheby’s auction quality. The event will take place starting at 7:30 PM at Matsuri in the Maritime Hotel (363 W 16th Street, NYC) – admission is $115 and there is limited seating for 50 people.
Matsuri, with Chef Tadashi Ono’s noted cuisine, is a celebration of Japanese food. Fresh fish and organic grains are flown in daily from Japan. The menu, which changes seasonally, includes such standouts as thinly-sliced fluke sashimi with red pepper and ponzu, Sake Black Cod and yellowtail sashimi with ginger vinegar sauce.
