Details
Each year, 80 participants take part in this unique five-session program that examines a variety of issues facing our community – both locally and abroad. The Program also offers a closer look at the inner workings of the San Francisco Jewish community, including its institutions, as well as its people. The first four sessions, explore the topics of Jewish Identity, Contemporary Jewish Issues, Israel and tikkun olam ("repairing the world" and social action). The fifth session is an inspiring "mini-mission" to local Jewish historical sites and Federation-supported agencies to learn more about our unique local Jewish community. Each of the first four sessions includes fantastic programming, social networking opportunities, and dinner. The mini-mission session includes transportation to several venues in the city and lunch. All sessions are followed by a fun and optional social gathering of Club Fed participants.
