“A year in the lives of the fast and furriest,” this Canadian-produced documentary takes us inside the world of dachshund racing that has caught fire all across the US. This film festival award-winner takes a sometimes hilarious/sometimes sober look at the “stars,” their owners and fans, intense show competitions, and animal rights activists who oppose dachshund racing.
Q & A follows the screening with director Shane McDougall and West Coast “stars” of the film and their families.
A portion of the proceeds from this screening will be donated to Pedro Pet Pals and San Pedro's new Harbor Animal Care Center on North Gaffey.
