A one day conference to discuss the latest mental health issues facing soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families and the “best practices” strategies and cutting-edge tools to work with them. The conference offers workshops in the morning and afternoon and a panel discussion with veterans about the types of treatment, care, and resources that were most helpful to them upon returning from the front line. 6 hours of CE credits for psychologists, MFTs and LCSWs are available.
First 100 Registrants receive a free copy of the book Veterans and Couples Guide to Recovering from PTSD. Books donated by the Purple Heart Service Foundation.
