Explore bias and prejudice and how these behaviors impact the conflict resolution process. We will look at ways to identify our own bias. We will further work through various exercises on how to effectively address bias in the conflict resolution process and how not to negatively influence the process with our biases and how not to make bad or inappropriate decisions based on biases. We will share and interactively develop strategies and tools on how to better deal with our own bias and the bias of others in an ever increasing multi-cultural, multi-gender, multi-orientation, multi-generational, etc., environment.
