Beth Sawi is the author of Coming Up for Air: How to Live a Balanced Life in a Workaholic World. Beth has held leadership positions at Charles Schwab & Co. and serves on the boards of the Alameda County Community Food Bank, the Ms. Foundation for Women, and Working Assets.
Leslie Tang-Schilling, a Regent of the University of California, is Founder and Director of Union Square Investments Company and has worked at the Chartered Bank of London, and KOA Holdings Ltd. She also serves as a Commissioner of the Asian Art Museum.
Simone Otus Coxe (BA 1981), has been involved in the public benefit sector for over 25 years. Her professional experience is primarily in marketing and communications. She serves on the board of the World Affairs Council and was board chairman of The Pluralism Fund.

Ms. Wright-Violich has guided the organization’s growth from a six-month old non-profit start-up to the largest charity in California and one of the top 10 charities in the United States.
