Are traditional media outlets becoming the 'new media'? Today, newspaper journalists and columnists write 'new media' blogs, in addition to their 'old media' stories, while evening newscasts are live-streamed on the Internet. Hear from some of Hawaii's leading media outlets about how media has changed, the similarities between new and old media, and how they've embraced new technologies.

Public Relations Society of America-Hawaii Chapter Purchase/refund policy: Due to the increased cost of doing business, reservations made via credit card will be assessed a nominal processing fee. Cancellations will be accepted up to one week prior to the event and a $5 cancellation fee will apply for reservations made via credit card. Thereafter, you would be considered a no-show and will be invoiced for the full amount of your reservation after the one week grace period.
