Please join Toastmasters District 77 at our 2010 Fall Conference in Huntsville, AL!
The event is scheduled for September 24-26, 2010 and all Toastmasters in the District are invited to attend. The agenda includes:
- Friday night, 7pm until ?? - Open Mike Nite (practice speaking with a microphone) followed by Game Night. Wear your favorite Team's gear and play card games, board games, and bingo to win door prize tickets. Prizes will be given away at 10:30pm.
- Saturday, 8am until ?? - Opening Ceremonies & Training Events (Morning); Hall of Fame Luncheon and Table Topics Contest; Educational Sessions & District Council Meeting (afternoon); Dinner & Humorous Speech Contest (evening).
- Sunday, 8:30am - Breakfast with Pat Johnson, President of Toastmasters International.
Meal information is as follows:
Saturday Lunch Buffet includes fried catfish and basked chicken, freshly baked rolls, mixed garden greens salad & dressings, pasta salad, creamy potato salad, baked potato, fresh steamed garden vegetable medley, broccoli casserole, carrot cake.
Saturday Evening Dinner includes fresh grilled filet of salmon OR rocky mountain chicken (chargrilled breast of chicken topped with tomato, smoked bacon and smothered with melted pepper jack cheese), bavarian whipped potatoes, turnip or collard greens, garden salad, rools, strawberry shortcake. A vegetarian option is also available.
Sunday Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, smoked bacon or sausage, seasoned country potatoes or grits, oven brown homemade biscuits, orange juice, and coffee or tea.
