Weekly from October 10, 2012 through November 7, 2012 12 - 1:30 Eastern (includes weekly live meetings are self-directed learning) To support healing and build resilience among trauma survivors, we must understand how trauma impacts all facets of a person's life. Becoming trauma-informed means using knowledge of trauma and recovery to design and deliver services. In this course, we will discuss what is unique about a trauma-informed approach. Participants will have the opportunity to apply an understanding of trauma to their work as individuals, teams, and organizations. Instructors: Kathleen Guarino, LMHC, and Katie Volk, MA.
