Details Creating a new business starts with a great idea!  Once you've created that idea, the next step is writing the business plan to bring it to fruition. The Business Plan is a multipurpose document: a presentation of your unique ideas and step-by-step plans of action to bankers and/or prospective investors. It is both an operating plan to guide the business formation process, and serves as a list of benchmarks or milestones for measuring progress. This 2-1/2 hour interactive workshop will cover: • The Challenge • The Financials • The Solution • The Risks • The Market & Marketing The Conclusion • The Management Team and Their Qualifications About the Presenter: This 'not to be missed' workshop is presented by Bob Rose. Bob has extensive experience in all aspects of entrepreneurship: as an investment banker-providing capital; as the entrepreneur founder of three companies; as an educator-teaching entrepreneurship at MBA programs and in undergraduate programs in multiple colleges and Universities; In the innovative Palm Springs High School 'Entrepreneurship' program, as a private consultant-helping start-ups get launched, and advising existing companies to help them define and reach their next level of success.

SCORE, formerly called "Service Corps of Retired Executives", is a volunteer organization of highly experienced business counselors, primarily retired entrepreneurs, CEO's and senior executives from companies of all sizes.  Certain counselors are also Attorneys, CPA's, and other professional designations.  A number of SCORE counselors remain currently employed in business and industry.  All SCORE business counseling is free of charge and all information provided by clients is confidential.  SCORE services are provided as a public service throughout the USA.  SCORE also holds group workshops at various locations and may charge a small attendance fee for these activities to cover direct expenses.
