Ice Cream and Outreach!

Join your fellow SWE members on the outreach committee who want to increase student interest in the engineering profession or who just enjoy working with kids. At this meeting, we will determine which outreach activities we want to pursue for the 2012-2013 fiscal year and try to match coordinators and volunteers with these activities. In the past these activities have included Mission to Mars, Cambridge Science Fest Table, Big for a Day, "Wow! That's Engineering!" workshops, merit certificate presentations, speakers bureau, and special events like Engineer's Week.

If you are interested in participating in any of the outreach programs for next year, please attend this meeting. This is a great way to get more involved with SWE-Boston, make new friends and professional contacts, and share your passion for engineering.

Location: SWE Member's home in Newton, MA (Directions will be provided via email after you RSVP)

Cost: Free (Ice Cream and toppings will be served)

NOTE: We may meet outside - weather permitting.
