Hands-On Whether it is for a casual and cozy get-together with friends, a rollicking tailgate, or an elegant dinner party, a main course soup is the way to go for easy and economical entertaining. Soups have a proven track record for cooks with a busy calendar and a penchant for “do-ahead” recipes. In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of soup making as they make and taste four unique soups. Students will be divided into groups; each group will focus on a different soup in the class. MENU: Curried Chicken, Wild Rice, and Apple Soup; Marinated Steak & Fingerling Potato Soup; Seafood Dumpling Soup with Gremolata; Warm & Soothing Chunky Caribbean Gazpacho; and Candied Ginger & Pumpkin Bread Pudding. $55
