An understanding of trauma can reduce the number, types, and intensity of disputes facing homeless and at-risk students. In this course, instructors will draw on their deep understanding of the role that trauma history plays in response to conflict. We will share strategies and lessons learned from homeless education programs in their effort to resolve conflicts and disputes with parents, guardians, and youths.
