What: A wine tasting with light food. For those who prefer other beverages a cash bar will be available.

Why: Other than being a great opportunity to catch up with old friends....make new friends....and taste a great selection of wines, the event will give us an opportunity to present the Doron Abosch Memorial Scholarship Award. The Club's scholarship fund is named for the late Doron Abosch who graduated from NU in 1986 and was responsible for starting the Young Alumni Club in New York. After a battle with cancer, Doron passed away in 1991. In his memory the NY Alumni board members started a memorial scholarship award that each year is given to an outstanding Northwestern junior from the New York area who is receiving financial aid.
