Join us for the first public discussion in recent memory between Bay Area journalists covering local and global stories, and representatives of Bay Area NGOs working on international development issues. Our panel, consisting of two well-known journalists and two international NGO professionals, will engage in an interactive discussion on the timely question: 'How can the Bay Area press improve its coverage of US foreign policy issues?'
The unique Bay Area Media-NGO Dialogue will examine this topic from several perspectives, surveying complexities involved for both the media and for NGOs. Potential areas for discussion include peace and conflict resolution, international health care, and global environment crises.
