The Acteva Payment Management Service includes facilities to assist you with transaction reconciliation, to proactively monitor for fraudulent transaction, to assist with the processing of refunds and to work to resolve chargeback requests. Acteva distributes net event revenues via mailed checks based on the organizer's chosen payment cycle. Payment cycles vary depending on product being used.

The capabilities listed below may not be available for every Acteva solution. Some of the items may only be available for an additional charge. Please refer to the payment management section for the individual Acteva solution to see what capabilities are available for that solution.

Acteva automatically accepts Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Discover, and American Express (Acteva Express only accepts Visa, MasterCard and PayPal) payments online. However, in order to accommodate all your prospective attendees, Acteva also provides you with the ability to offer additional payment methods including checks and purchase orders. These Options are not available for all Acteva products and they may incur annual fees and/or transaction fees to use the service.

Acteva Check Processing Service

Attendees send checks directly to Acteva. Acteva then manages the payment on your behalf and processes any refunds

Pay By Check

Attendees are asked to send their checks directly to the organizer. It is the organizer's responsibility to manage the attendee payment status and process any refunds.

Purchase Order

Many corporations, schools, hospitals or government agencies do not allow direct payments. They require a Purchase Order to be issued by them in order to pay any invoices/money due. Acteva allows the organizer to accept Purchase Orders as a payment option. It is the organizer's responsibility to invoice their attendee, manage the attendee payment status and process any refunds.

Wire Transfer

Some organizations are now paying with a different electronic payment method - Wire Transfers. Acteva allows an order to be partially processed waiting for a wire transfer payment to be received to complete the order. The system will inform the attendee on how to pay for the registration using the organizer's wire transfer account information. It is the organizer's responsibility to manage the attendee's payment status once the wire transfer payment is received.

PayPal

Add PayPal as an additional payment method to your checkout page.

Utilize the Acteva Merchant Account Connector for collecting online credit card payments through the organizer's own internet merchant account.

The AMAC lets you set up, activate, and maintain your own Merchant Account(s) with Acteva. All credit card payments collected via Acteva are processed using the organizer's own merchant account and registration payments are deposited to the organizer's bank account as defined in their merchant account agreement. Not only does the AMAC take care of all your online credit card payment processing needs it also allows you to process cancellations and refunds effortlessly.

Organizations that do not have an Internet Merchant Account or are looking for a new Merchant Account have the option of using the same Merchant Account processor that we use. We have teamed up with an industry leader enabling you to leverage Acteva's long-term relationship with Merchant e-Solutions to get the best merchant account solution in the marketplace.
